Chambord French Press, 34 Ounce

The Bodum Chambord French Press:

This 34oz french press is perfect for steeping tea or coffee without a mess. Simply add your tea leaves into the beaker, pour your water over it and replace the lid. Once the tea has finished steeping, press the plunger down to prevent leaves from steeping further. 

We would recommend keeping your coffee press and tea press separate so that the flavors don't disturb each other. 

Press makes 8 cups, 1 liters, 34 ounces. 

INSTRUCTIONS - TEA:

1. Place the press on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly, and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
2. Add one teaspoon of loose tea for each cup/4oz water. This 34oz press would take 6 teaspoons. This can vary depending on your tea.
3. Pour hot water into the carafe (about 92-96ºC) leaving a minimum of 2.5cm/1inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon (optional).
4. Place the plunger unit on top of the pot and turn the lid so the pour spout is closed to retain the heat.
5. Leave steeping for your desired length of time, then slowly lower the plunger. Turn the lid to open the pour spout and pour yourself a delicious cup of tea.

INSTRUCTIONS - COFFEE:

1. Place the press on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly, and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
2. Add one rounded teaspoon or one scoop of coarsely ground coffee for each cup/4oz water. This 34oz press would take 6 scoops.
3. Pour hot water into the carafe (about 92-96ºC) leaving a minimum of 2.5cm/1inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
4. Place the plunger unit on top of the pot and turn the lid so the pour spout is closed to retain the heat.
5. Leave four minutes to brew, then slowly lower the plunger. Turn the lid to open the pour spout and pour your delicious cup of joe.
