Description:

Turmeric tea originates from a grouping of islands from the southernmost prefecture of Japan, the Okinawa Islands. Residents there have been drinking it for centuries due to its novel taste and multitude of health benefits from its rich antioxidant content.

Turmeric is of the ginger family whose characteristic for delivering powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This bright yellow-orange spice is most commonly known for its inclusion in curries and sauces. For thousands of years it has been used for, medicinal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.

The turmeric flavor is unique and subtle, pungent and slightly bitter. To subdue the inherent bitterness we have added apples, mangoes, and rose-hips which give this blend a sweet, crisp, refreshing taste that is enjoyable no matter the hour.

Flavor: Fruity, sweet, and spicy.

Aroma: Floral with subtle notes of pineapple.

Ingredients: 

Dried Apples, Turmeric Root, Dried Mangoes, Rose Hips, Black Pepper, Ginger, Natural Flavor of Mango, Orange

• 2.75 Ounce Tube: 28-36 Cups
• 8 Ounce Bulk Pouch: 80-100 Cups
• 10 Ice Tea Pouches: 5 Gallons of Ice Tea (96 cups)

Suggested Steeping Instructions:

1. Add 1 teaspoon tea per 6 oz. cup to your infuser / pot.
2. Pour boiling water over tea (212°F).
3. Steep for at least 5-8 minutes.
