Delectable Belgian dark chocolate, handmade in Connecticut. This bar is made from ruby chocolate, a naturally pink chocolate variety made from real cocoa beans. It has a slightly tart and crisp fruit base to it, complemented by adding hibiscus powder and topped with fruits.

Pair with: Strawberry Hibiscus Tea

Ingredients:

Ruby Hibiscus - Ruby Chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, cocoa mass, soy lecithin, citric acid, vanilla flavoring), Hibiscus, Freeze-Dried Strawberries, Freeze-Dried Blueberries

Sizes: 

  1. Small | Approx. 1.3 ounces (37g) (pictured)
  2. Large | Approx. 4.5 Ounces (124g)
Steeping Instructions

We encourage you to experiment with brewing styles and methods to find what you like best! These are some suggested guidelines based on the Western Brewing Method that we would recommend for anyone getting started with green tea.

• Add 1 teaspoon tea per 6 oz. cup to your infuser / pot.
• Pour under-boiling water over tea (180°F).
• Steep for at least 2-4 minutes.

In 2023, Open Door Tea had an idea: could tea inspire a new kind of chocolate bar? We love tea, and we love chocolate, so why not have both? After months of experimentation, we invented nine unique varieties of chocolate bars inspired by our café. The bars are topped with our proprietary tea blends and complemented with berries, nuts, and more.

We searched for the best local chocolatier we could find, and in 2024 we established an exclusive partnership with BE Chocolat to handle the production. Their handmade artisan chocolate base leaves nothing to be desired.
