White Tea

White tea is said to have originated in China and is made from steaming or frying and drying tea buds and new leaves. The unopened tea buds have white tips, which give the tea its name.

Benefits: many antioxidant and anti-aging properties, antimicrobial properties that can help shield the body from infection and protect the skin from the damaging effects of UV light.

These teas are very delicate and are best enjoyed with the lightest of foods, or on their own so you don’t miss its subtley sweet notes.
