Fruit-Infused Black Tea Sampler

We encourage you to experiment with brewing styles and methods to find what you like best! These are some suggested guidelines based on the Western Brewing Method that we would recommend for anyone getting started with black tea.

HOT TEA

• Add 1 teaspoon tea per 6 oz. cup to your infuser / pot.
• Pour boiling water over tea (212°F).
• Steep for at least 3-5 minutes.

Black Tea

During this time, tea leaves were accidentally over-oxidized during the drying process, which resulted in a dark color and a stronger flavor. This new variety of tea gained popularity and eventually spread to other regions, including India, Sri Lanka, and beyond. Over time, black tea became the most widely consumed tea globally, with distinct regional variations and production techniques shaping its unique flavor profiles.
